Free delivery is offered on all items being delivered within the United States.
Depending on the event, event date, sale price, and the type of ticket being sold, your item may be delivered using any of the following methods:
1) FedEx
2) United States Mail
3) Electronic Delivery
The delivery method used is at the discretion of ASCTicket.
Depending on the dollar value of your order, a signature may be required for delivery.
For security reasons, we can only ship to the confirmed address on file with PayPal.
DELIVERY TIMELINE:
ASCTicket guarantees that you will receive your item before your event, or we will refund your money in full.
In general, in-hand items that are not for events within the next 10 days will ship within 5 business days of your order.
For events within 10 days, our goal is to ship within 1 business day.
Sometimes an item will not yet be in hand when you place your order. This usually happens when we are waiting for season tickets to arrive
from a team. In such cases, we will ship the item as soon as it comes in.
If you are relying on receiving your item by a certain date, please call prior to placing your order to verify that we can accomodate your needs.
In Case These Tickets Are Not Available At Time Of Purchase We Reserve The Right To Replace Them With Equal Or Better Tickets.

Q. Is the price for all the tickets or just one?
A. We have two different types of listings. For listings of 4 or less tickets the price is for all tickets specified in the group. For 5 or more tickets the price is per ticket.


If tickets are in PDF format, they can be emailed to you up until the time the event takes place, ONLY if the event is less than 72 hours away. If tickets are emailed to you, you will be asked to confirm you can view/print tickets.

Can I improve my odds for getting tickets by purchasing through one particular distribution channel?
When an event goes on sale, tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person. We do not reserve a specific amount of tickets for different distribution channels, so the odds of getting tickets are the same no matter how you choose to get your tickets. (Please note that phone centers and ticket outlets generally sell tickets only for a specific geographic region.)

Why do tickets sell out so quickly for popular events?
When a popular event goes on sale there are literally hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers simultaneously attempting to purchase tickets across all distribution channels. Like any limited commodity, tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and sometimes they go quickly. If 500 fans are simultaneously buying four tickets each, 2,000 tickets can be sold in a matter of seconds! It's the same reason why a typical 18,000-seat arena can sell out in a few minutes.

Also, in many cases, tickets are held by the promoter or venue or have been pre-sold to season-ticket holders for the entire run of the season, reducing the quantity of tickets available for purchase through Ticket City by the general public.

Why are "better" tickets sometimes available...
...a few minutes after the event goes on sale?
When customers find tickets either online or through any of the other distribution channels, those tickets are actually reserved while the customer considers the purchase. During that period, which lasts for only a few minutes, no one else can view or purchase those tickets. If the customer decides not to buy the tickets, they are "released" and become available to other purchasers. So if a customer is looking at 10th-row-center seats and decides not to buy, those seats become available for another customer.

...days after the event goes on sale?
A venue may release more tickets for Ticket City to sell as the event date approaches. This happens for several reasons, such as 1) The artist or team may no longer need the tickets that were held when the event originally went on sale, 2) Once the stage or event area is set up, the venue has a better idea about which seats are obstructed. Sometimes events are so popular that even seats with obstructed views are released for sale! Or 3) Sometimes a customer attempts to buy tickets but their credit card is declined. If Ticket City is unable to contact the customer to secure a valid credit card or billing address, Ticket City may cancel the order and release the tickets for sale. Tickets may also be released if a customer does not follow Ticket City's published ticket quanity limits or other terms of use.

May I exchange my tickets if better seats become available later, or if a second show is announced?
We and our clients regret any inconvenience, but, as with all Ticket City ticket sales, there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations.

Why does Ticket City enforce a time limit when making purchases online?
When you are shopping for tickets, you are "holding" real inventory. No one else can purchase those tickets unless you release them by not completing your order. Due to high demand, we've implemented a time limit during the checkout process. Each checkout page is assigned a different time limit based on the type of information we need from you. If you exceed the posted time on the page, the tickets you are holding are released for others to purchase. You have about five minutes total to complete your purchase. This gives as many people as possible a chance to purchase tickets.

TIP: To speed through the checkout process, register your billing information with Ticket City prior to purchasing tickets. You can do this by setting up a personal account on our site, by clicking on "My Ticket City," located at the very top, right-hand corner of the home page.

Why are there limits on how many tickets I can buy?
The venue or artist/event management will typically impose a ticket limit per customer, credit card or address in order to provide ticket access to as many fans as possible. Ticket limits vary depending on the type of event or the anticipated demand for tickets. Check the event information area of the purchase page for more information on ticket limits for your event. Please adhere to published ticket limits. If we determine that a ticket limit has been exceeded, we may cancel an order, or part of an order, without notice, and may even cancel a ticket that has already been delivered, rendering it null and void without notice.

Prevent your tickets from being released
Please use only one browser window at a time (on the same computer) to hold tickets. If you open a new browser and order a different set of tickets, the tickets held in the previous browser will be released for sale to other customers. This helps us to prevent attempts to use automated programs to block other customers from getting tickets.

Last-Minute Ticket Availability
As the event date approaches, the venue may release tickets that were previously held for the artist or team. Why are tickets released?

  • The artist or team may no longer need the tickets that were held when the event originally went on sale.
  • Once the stage or event area is set up, the venue has a better idea about which seats are obstructed. Sometimes events are so popular that even seats with obstructed views are released for sale!

Buying Tickets


Are there other ways I can purchase tickets to events I am interested in attending?
Promoters sometimes conduct pre-sales or special promotions. A pre-sale typically occurs online a few days or weeks before tickets go on sale to the general public. A percentage of all tickets for the event are made available during the pre-sale. Check our website often for new pre-sales or sign up with Ticket City.com and sign up to be notified of upcoming special events and exclusive promotional discounts and privileges.

Ticket City works with some sports teams to make it possible for customers to purchase tickets to games online from season ticket holders. For a list of tickets posted for sale by season ticket holders, as well as information on how you can purchase them, visit teamexchange.Ticket City.com.

Many venues also make tickets available at their box office. To find contact information for a specific box office, search for the venue name on our website's home page by entering venue name and clicking on the "search" button. Then click on the venue information link that follows.

What is an Internet Pre-sale?
Occasionally, some events will be available to purchase online before they go on sale to the general public. These pre-sales frequently require a password that may be distributed by the venue, artist, team, or promoter of either the event or the pre-sale, or distributed by Ticket City.com via email promotions and TicketAlerts. Often, these passwords are distributed to exclusive members of clubs or certain other types of groups and cannot be offered to members of the public. Links may be published on the Event Information page at the time of pre-sale. Ticket City Phone Center and Customer Service representatives usually cannot give out passwords. If an event is scheduled for pre-sale and we are authorized to publish it in advance, the event page may list an "Internet Pre-sale" date with the ticket sales information.

Internet pre-sales are usually sold from a reserved allotment of seats, which may not reflect the same availability during the public ticket sale. Internet pre-sales provide the advantage of exclusive purchasing windows in advance of the public sale, which often results in less people competing for the pool of available seats. However, Internet pre-sales may also have limited seating available in various areas - these pre-sales are intended as advance purchasing windows and do not necessarily provide access to better seating. In fact, it is possible that you may be able to obtain tickets for better seats at the general public sale than those that you purchase through a pre-sale. We must remind you that Ticket City does not offer refunds or exchanges, so you will not be able to replace the tickets you obtain at a pre-sale with other tickets that become available at a later date.

What are Platinum Tickets?
Platinum Tickets are premium tickets for some of the best seats in the house at concerts and other events. Some artists and event providers are now making a select number of Platinum Tickets available for sale directly to fans through Ticket City TicketExchange.

Aren't you just diverting tickets to resale?
No. The Platinum Tickets on TicketExchange were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time on Ticket City's TicketExchange platform. Using this platform enables market-based pricing (adjusting prices according to supply and demand) for live event tickets, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value and participate more fairly in the economic value of the experience they're providing to fans.

My tickets say "General Admission." What does that mean?
General Admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General Admission event, you may be quoted section, row, and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Please ensure you carefully read the Event Information and Ticket Information screens when purchasing tickets: Any information on whether your tickets are General Admission will be posted on one or both of these screens. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available. Ticket City cannot guarantee seating for any event that is sold as General Admission.


Ticket Prices Explained


Ticket prices are based on the following:

Face Value of a Ticket
The face value of a ticket is determined by the promoter, venue, or artist. Ticket City does not determine the face value of tickets.

Facility Charge
The purpose for this charge varies from venue to venue. Not all venues charge a facility charge. Ticket City does not determine the facility charge. The facility charge is not retained by Ticket City; it is remitted to the venue.

Convenience Charge
This fee covers costs that allow Ticket City to provide the widest range of available tickets while giving you multiple ways to purchase. Tickets are available in many neighborhoods via local ticket outlet locations, our telephone reservation system and Ticket City.com. Tickets can be purchased through at least one distribution channel virtually 24 hours a day. The convenience charge varies by event and is determined by negotiations with arena operators, promoters and others, based on costs for each event.

Is the convenience charge always the same no matter where I buy my tickets?
No, the convenience charge will vary depending upon where you purchase the tickets. There is typically no convenience charge when you drive to a box office to purchase tickets. A convenience charge is applied when you purchase from the Internet, phone or ticket outlet (e.g., at your local department store), and this charge may vary depending upon Ticket City's local agreements with its venue, promoter and outlet partners.

Order Processing Fee
The order processing fee covers the cost to fulfill your ticket request when you purchase the tickets online or by phone. This charge includes services, such as taking and maintaining your order on our ticketing systems, arranging for shipping and/or coordinating with the box office will call. It is applied to an entire order. Both the venue or promoter and Ticket City determine the charge on an event-by-event basis. In almost all cases, additional delivery prices may be charged based on the delivery method that you choose.

Taxes
City, state, and local taxes (and for Canada, provincial and Federal Goods and Services taxes) are typically included in the face value of the ticket.

Delivery Price
A variety of delivery options are available for most events. For more detailed information on the delivery of tickets, please review Delivery Methods. Delivery prices will be displayed during the purchase process at the point where you select the shipping method. Generally, standard mail and will call (but not international will call for US events), as well as Canadian Ticket Centre pick up, will all be free, although there will still be an order processing fee, and occasionally, delivery prices may in fact be charged (i.e., occasionally the delivery price for these options will not be free). Consequently, we recommend that you carefully review the delivery prices in the delivery method section of the purchase process before selecting these options to be sure. All other delivery options, including, but not limited to, FedEx, UPS, Canada Post Priority Courier, TicketFast® and International Will Call, generally require the payment of a delivery price, which will be reflected during the purchase process, at the point where you select the shipping method.


Customer Service


Who handles refunds?
The decision of whether or not to allow refunds is made by the venue or promoter. Ticket City assumes no responsibility for making any such decision, and will have no responsibility to issue refunds. However, if a refund is issued, then it will be Ticket City who will process refunds for those tickets sold through our Internet sites, call centers and ticket outlets. Please note that delivery prices and certain other fees associated with a ticket order will not be refunded.

How are cancellations, postponements and artist venue changes handled?
Occasionally, events are cancelled by the promoter, team, band or venue. Should this occur, and if you purchased your tickets online or by phones, you may receive a refund or exchange for that event. Please note that delivery and order processing fees cannot be refunded.

What if I don't receive my tickets?
If you do not receive your tickets by three business days prior to an event, call your local us immediately. Be prepared with the confirmation number for your account, or the purchasing credit card. The agent will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. This is normally done at the box office prior to the show, and the tickets are marked as "Replacement" so that they are easily identified as the valid tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the credit card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase.

Condition Related Returns:
We take great care in describing the condition of our products accurately. If you receive your order and feel that the condition is not consistent with our representation, please let us know immediately (within 3 days of receipt), and we'll do our very best to make you happy. If we're unable to, just pay to ship the item(s) back, and we'll fully refund your original winning price.

Items returned must be in the same condition that they were received in order to receive full credit. Items purchased in "New", "Open Box, Cancelled Orders" or "Like New" condition and then used (even once) are not returnable.
